We are called to repent, to die, to change, deny ourselves, to pick up our cross, take off the old man, put on the new man, be transformed by the renewing of our minds, to humble ourselves, to submit to others, to be like Christ, to resist the devil, to be perfect like God, to hate sin, to bear fruit, to reconcile the lost, to be salt, to be light, to always forgive, turn the other cheek, return good for evil, to have faith, to be holy, to be righteous, to judge not, to extend grace and to be merciful, to go into all the world, to make disciples, to be in unity, to present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, to not conform to this world, to prove what the will of God is, to overcome evil with good, submit to authority, never stumble your brother, to teach the Word, to study to show yourself approved to God, to be in fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, to follow the Spirit, to keep in step with the Spirit, to pray in the Spirit, to pray without ceasing, to love God and to love people.
“You will learn how your great work is to listen and hear and believe what He promises; to watch and wait and see what HE does; and then, in faith and worship and obedience, to yield yourself to the working of Him who works in you mightily.” by Andrew Murray, Abide In Christ
